Kawana Hotel was registered on November 20, 2015 (Friday) as a registered tangible cultural property of Kawana Hotel Main Building and Rural House (Building). On December 6, 1936, Kawana Hotel has 60 guest rooms (currently 100 rooms), a sun parlor, lobby, dining, grill, bar, reading room, Longji was opened as a resort hotel with a total floor area of ​​over 2,000 tsubo, with a three-story basement and towers, complete with a projection room. 
All are built with the latest technology at the time, and their materials, structure and design have been loved by customers for many years as modern architecture in the early Showa period. The designs of the founders Kiichiro Okura and Sadataro Takahashi are found everywhere.
