Hakodate-Onuma Prince Hotel is located in the natural splendor of Onuma Quasi-National Park, which lies at the foot of the magnificent Mt. Komagatake. The park is rich with the picturesque beauty of Hokkaido, such that it has been named one of the three scenic views of modern Japan, and the area has been popular as a resort with visitors from abroad since the opening of the port of Hakodate. Nestled in the forest, Hakodate-Onuma Prince Hotel has 292 hotel rooms and 39 cottages, and the hotel wing features a full complement of amenities, such as a banqueting hall that can accommodate 800 guests, restaurants serving meals prepared using Hokkaido ingredients, baths with natural open-air hot springs, shops, and boutiques. The Hokkaido Country Club adjacent to the hotel is a historic championship course that opened in 1965. The hotel grounds also have a variety of active experiences to take part in, such as the Walking Course through its natural surroundings, the Zipline Adventure, and Segway tours.

Approximately 10 minutes by free shuttle bus from JR Onuma Koen Station. Approximately 16 minutes by car from JR Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station, or 18 minutes via fixed-route bus (arriving outside the hotel). Approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes from Hakodate Airport by fixed-route bus (arriving outside the hotel), or 50 minutes by taxi. Approximately 3 hours by car from New Chitose Airport via the Hokkaido Expressway, Onuma Koen Interchange.

*The Hakodate New Outer Ring Road (10 km between Hakodate Airport I.C. and Hakodate I.C.) will open in March 2021.It will provide smooth access to and from Hakodate Airport.
